A lil too independent for the codependent folk

A lil too jaded for the people hoping to connect

A lil too in my head for the people who want to be seen

A lil too privileged for the people who are battling scarcity

A lil too loved for the loveless

A lil too far for the loving

A lil too Christian for the hopeless

A lil too hopeless for the Christians

A lil too crazy for the boomers

A lil too grounded for the Gen Zers

A lil too boomer for the millennials

A lil too old for the young

A lil too young for the old

A lil too educated for the ignorant

A lil too ignorant for the educated

A lil too crazy for the socially sane

A lil too sane for the mentally unstable

A lil too bate for the esoteric

A lil too mysterious for the bate

A lil too tired for the energized

A lil too energized for the tired

A lil too busy for myself

A lil too myself for the busy

… some days all the "lil"s = existential dread and exhaustion,

on others it’s just suicidal ideations
